Bell-Roberts Art Gallery has developed a very exciting reputation for supporting, promoting and exhibiting innovative contemporary South African culture. We host monthly exhibitions by leading contemporary South African artists, these include award winning artists: Kevin Brand; Doreen Southwood; Brett Murray; Matthew Hindley and Roelof Louw. We also host a monthly screening of “Masjien”; an experimental film platform for movie makers. Bell-Roberts publishing produces artists books of an exceptional quality. We also design and publish artists catalogues, invitations, postcards and catalogues. The award winning magazine “Art South Africa” is the only magazine in South Africa to cover contemporary South African art. “ITCH” magazine covers contemporary culture in the global sphere , this is a submissions based magazine. We have a studio that caters primarily to artists who wish to produce catalogues and books and do high end repro and retouching. Bell-Roberts also produces limited edition digital prints of artists works in association with “Art South Africa” magazine.
